The Spiral Series brings together a panel of speakers from the worlds of science, spirituality, social change, and creativity. We approach each topic from these four vantage points in the spirit of cultivating a more holistic worldview. We follow the speaker panel with a single generative conversation among everyone present.

When Joseph Campbell uttered his famous words, "Follow your bliss", he urged the passionate pursuit of a life-giving, soul-nurturing vision. How does an image of what we must create emerge from the depths of the psyche? What makes the process of giving an abstract idea flesh something akin to ecstatic mystery? Can we envision our collective future more consciously and thus choose and create it? How do we invite and honor visions from the divine within us all? Let us ponder these questions in the company of an eclectic panel of guest speakers - each a forward thinker, impassioned creator, and resolute doer.

Emiliya Zhivotovskaya, MAPP, RYT, is an international life coach, speaker and founder of Flourish, Inc., an organization dedicated to enabling individuals and organizations in unleashing their potential using positive psychology, yoga and alternative therapies. She holds a master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied under the founder of the field, Martin Seligman. Emiliya is the featured success coach for the National Society of Leadership and Success, a Penn Resilience Program Facilitator, contributing author for Positive Psychology News Daily, and holds additional certification in Vinyasa Yoga 200-hr, Reiki, Laughter Yoga, Thai Massage, Brain Gym, and Yoga Education.

Jonathan Phillips spearheaded the activist media group, Greene Dragon, but after experiencing a number of mystical encounters, kundalini awakenings, and “miraculous” healings, Jonathan turned his focus towards expanding consciousness. He is one of the founding members of Evolver LLC, serving as the news editor for the popular webmagazine for transformational culture, Reality Sandwich, and as the community director for Evolver.net, a social network for "conscious collaboration." He is also the editorial director of Souldish.com, a newsletter and website listing NYC's "hottest spirit-raising events." He recently completed a graduate degree in psychology specializing in the field of creativity, which combines his passion for art with his fascination with the workings of the human mind. He holds a deep reverence for and awe of the human ability to create works of truth, meaning, and beauty in the world. He is also a student of consciousness, embracing an integral approach which fuses together spirituality, science, philosophy, creativity, and psychology (all subjects near and dear to his heart). Peter is currently developing a television show that will be exploring the mysteries of the creative process. He aims through his art and his work to open hearts, to inspire minds, to expand notions of freedom and possibility, and to deepen awareness of meaning and beauty.
