Training for Transition 2-day course
The Transition Movement comes to NYC
Learn about this positive, community-building response to the economic, climate and energy crises. The information provided in this 2-day course will powerfully impact your life choices. Become informed so you can take action for a better future!
The Transition Movement is a vibrant, grassroots process for building community resilience in the face of such challenges as climate change, peak oil, and economic crisis. As a complement to existing sustainability efforts, Transition Initiatives empower people to adopt ways of life that are more abundant, fulfilling, equitable, sustainable, and socially connected. Since emerging in Ireland in 2005 as a response to the collision of these three crises, the Transition movement has spread virally across the UK and beyond. Hundreds of Transition initiatives are now underway.
Now, New York City is getting the opportunity to take some initiative. Four Training for Transition trainers, Tina Clarke, Alistair Lough, Bill Aal and Zaida Amaral are coming to New York City to give an introductory talk and 2-day training.
