Greetings brothers and sisters,

I would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in participating in a rain ceremony. I have been asked by brother Wade Beesley to lead the ceremony and have humbly accepted, Thank you brother. The ceremony will be held on the grounds of the Enchanted Forest on W. Oltorf St.
Brother Albert DeLoach has graciously offered his land for this purpose. Thank you Albert.
It will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 7pm. You can check out austinenchantedforest.com for map and directions.
Everyone is welcome to participate. We will be creating a medicine wheel with the stones from the creekbed nearby. We will call on the four directions, the Spirit of Mother Earth and Father Sky, our Ancestors, Masters, teachers, loved ones in spirit, Angels and the elementals. I will lead the group in a Unity meditation. We will sing native songs, play the drum and send our prayers for rain. Anyone that has a native song appropriate for the occasion that would like to share with the group is more than welcome to do so. Those who feel moved to purify themselves prior to this date by fasting or attending a sweatlodge are encouraged to do so. If at all possible, please wear WHITE to the ceremony. Let's come together with an open heart and re-connect with ourselves, each other and our precious Earth. In L'akesh!
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

In love and light,
Maria Carolina Bowen Bracamonte
