Introduction to Shamanism - A Two Year Apprenticeship Program in SW Ontario, Canada

This training involves eight life-changing meetings, once every season for two years to experience the ways of nature and spirit and to remember that we are all interconnected. At the end of the two years you will embody a rounded understanding of Shamanism and be able to walk your path with ancient tools in your toolbox and know how to use them in our contemporary world. You will also have a better sense of who you are and why you came to the earth at this time.

Ongoing Personal Work - use the shamanic journey to answer a set of questions, and then prepare yourself to share your findings with others in the group

The Rattle - creating sacred space

Continuing Personal Work - create your own rattle using inspirations from your journeys and your shamanic experiences thus far

Fall November 13 & 14, 2010

The Drum - connecting to great mother and the rhythms of the universe

Ongoing Personal Work - create your own drum using inspirations from journeys

Winter February 12 & 13, 2011

Power Animals - non-ordinary assistance for everyday life

Continuous Healing - finding your personal medicines

Reading Material: various complimentary healing texts, recommendations will be made

Ongoing Personal Work - prepare a short lesson about your medicine of choice and be prepared to demonstrate its use on a circle mate

Winter February 11 & 12, 2012
