Krishna Das is arguably the best known U.S. singer of Indian kirtan-style devotional music in the world. The kirtans he leads often build from a slow, meditative tempo to a high paced catharsis. Krishna Das has travelled the world for many years chanting the names of God and sharing the message and love of his Guru, Neem Karoli Baba.
Krishna Das does not follow a specific setlist when he sings at his kirtans. The interesting thing about him singing at this retreat where it's the same audience all three nights is that he will be singing for about 2 hours each night and during the total of 6 hours of live chanting he sings a large variety of chants - some of the classics or favorites or best of his 13 CDs has recorded since 1996. He sometimes surprises us all with a new melody that has not been recorded. He always intersperses his songs with lively stories relating to how the chant might have come about or how it affected his chant practice or how it relates to his time with his guru Neem Karoli Baba.

Now at this unprecedented Open Your Heart in Paradise event you can be in the company of Krishna Das live on the sacred grounds of Maui, Hawai’i where for three nights Krishna Das will open hearts and minds with his nightly kirtan chants which delight in the repetition of the names of God.
