Situated in a pristine rainforest overlooking Drakes Bay and the Peninsula De Osa. The deepest crimson sunsets, monkeys howling and the leisurely sloth hanging in the trees. Waterfalls tumbling into refreshingly cool pools where you can bath and relax. Not surprisingly this is considered to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Where else would you rather be to bring in the New Year?

THE IDEA
GeoParadise is so much more than just a festival.
While we are bringing together musicians and artists from around the planet, working together with the locals of Sinai to form a harmonious event, musically and visually stimulating the senses of all participants.
We are foremost committed to forming a natural symbiosis not only between the earth and our creative skills, but between the international and local communities as well. Our approach in the organization of our events is to go beyond leaving no trace on the land to collectively Leave Positive Trace, not only on the land but with the locals and all who attend the events. With this in mind we have an open online office here in this web site that all members of GeoTribe can access. Our idea is to be transparent with our business and dealings. We welcome the input of all participants, collectively we can accomplish so much more.

THE EVENT
The first two days:
Everyone will have indigenous young trees waiting for them.
After you have erected your tents, sorted out your camping spaces and settled in to the village come over to the reforestation area where we have a team of experts waiting to help you plant your trees.
They will guide you through every step of the process, showing you where and how to plant these little carbon sequestration power houses.
Don’t worry planting trees is very easy and relatively light work, your three trees should only take ten minutes to plant.
This is your chance to actively Leave Positive Trace on your planet, over the following years these little trees will flourish into a wonderful rainforest consuming carbon, producing oxygen and providing a habitat for an amazing array of animals, insect, birds and more.
In the afternoons there will be a meeting for all participants where we will discuss the days planting to let you know how things went, explain future programs and give you a chance to voice your say on the proceedings.

Then on the night of the 31st the music starts with a shamanic ceremony to thank everyone for their contribution.
There will be three main entertainment zones in the festival.

DANCE
The Stage will be constructed over the month leading up to the event it will be a show piece of sustainable design. Built primarily from bamboo that grows beside the river. Its form will be a representation of the natural flora of the region, mimicking the spread of ferns and palm leafs.
The dance floor will be circular and shaded inspired by a symbiosis of the rainforest canopy, and the technology of the GeoLab surround sound system and light show. Creating a sanctuary in which to dance and celebrate our healing work on this rainforest.
You will be immersed in a visionary space of infinite possibilities, sounds will approach and leave you from a myriad of directions. We guarantee that you will never have experienced anything like this before.
The music will start at midnight Friday 31st after a wonderful shamanic ceremony, celebrating your achievement reforesting and leaving positive trace on this rainforest and planet.

During the initial reforestation days there will be evening discussions held about the days events and your decisions about how the forest should be managed.
Here we celebrate the universal spirit. Bring in the morning and see out the day with a session of yoga, relax with a massage, join a group meditation then listen to lectures and debates on the future of our planet. Learn mor e about your reforestation, see what’s hot in reusable energy and find out just how easy it is to live sustainably.

After three days of non stop music, entertainment, love and fun we will move the proceedings down the hill onto a private beach accessible only by boats.
Two more days of festivities will follow before we wrap the event up with one final ceremony to thank the earth for allowing us this opportunity to shine.

The end of this event will be the start of something bigger.
You will have the chance to participate in the decisions of where the money raised will go.
