Fair Farm Bill in 2012 Campaign Launch Party

Food & Water Watch just launched its Fair Farm Bill campaign asking each and every one of us to stand up against our corporate-driven food system. While some of us in Los Angeles may be able to buy sustainable local food, many do not have access to safe, healthy, affordable food. We need to do more than vote with our food dollars, we need to change the broken system.

There will be a short presentation on how the Farm Bill affects our health and our pocketbooks, and what we can do about it. Happy hour drinks will be served and we will raffle off 15 copies of a brand new book about factory farms.

We will also be collecting photos and quotes from people who care about creating a better food system as part of our Fair Farm Bill photo petition to President Obama.
