Soul Tending: An Introduction
SOUL TENDING: AN INTRODUCTION
The soul is the great source of healing, wisdom, and spiritual guidance in every individual. It is the medium that guides the ego to its destined union with the Higher Self. The soul speaks to us through dreams and symbols, myth and art, visions and imagination, feelings and intuition, synchronicities and slip-ups, desires and repulsions, joys and depressions.
When we actively tend to the soul’s messages, the soul guides us to a deeper communion with the Higher Self, and our path unfolds before us with new found clarity, purpose, and inspiration. Such communion brings profound psychological healing, spiritual awakening, and the renewal of one’s essential life-force.
Soul Tending is the art of facilitating the soul’s own unique process of unfolding, self-healing, and self-actualizing. In this workshop, Andrew Camargo (M.A.) will teach participants how to use a combination of dreamwork, active imagination, creative art, inward descent, and shamanic technique to stimulate, cultivate, and implement the innate wisdom and guidance of the soul.
Cost: $20
Materials: Pen and paper.
Andrew Camargo studied literature and psychoanalysis at Yale University, where he received his B.A., and Jungian psychology and mythology at the Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he received his M.A. in Humanities. After receiving his M.A., Andrew journeyed deep into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, where he lived and worked with numerous shamanic healers, and participated in many of their healing ceremonies. His Soul Tending practice arises from a combination of the psychological healing modality he learned in school and the shamanic healing modality he learned in the Amazon.
