Global Roots: A Brooklyn Boulders Party for the Mycelium School
What: Some of New York City’s most promising young change-makers will share their stories in a series of lightning-round talks showcasing how they are changing the world. Poetry and musical performances, info tables and activities led by local social entrepreneurs, a silent auction, and a collaborative mural-painting project will light up the night. Event host Brooklyn Boulders, the largest (and hippest) indoor climbing gym in New York City, will leave its walls open to climbers early in the evening, and later clear the dance floor and break out the fog machine for a midnight dance-off.
Cost: $15 donation in advance or $25 at the door includes open bar and an hour and a half of free climbing. All proceeds will benefit the Mycelium School.
