SYNOPSIS (no spoilers)
Antero Alli's ninth underground feature explores the interactions between an urban magickal order and rural brujas in a zany occult thriller that takes place in present time California. The elder Magus of the Thelemic Temple of Horus just passed away. Jack Mason, a promising young sex magickian cultivated to advance the lineage, loses it all when the elder Magus' son unexpectedly inherits everything with plans to commercialize the Temple. Jack plots deadly revenge and falls into a dizzying maze of underworld encounters with professional psychopaths, desert witches, and a twist of fate he never saw coming. Meanwhile, Jack's two hot-headed apprentices offer cryptic narrative via their hilarious performance of the classic fairy tale, "Jack and The Beanstalk".
