TRIBAL GATHERING 2012
GeoParadise will be holding its next festival 21st - 28th December 2012, coinciding with the end of the 13th B'ak'tun of the Mayan Long Count Calendar and the last full moon of the year.
The dates cannot be more emblematic for the indigenous and psychedelic tribes attending this event!
According modern interpretations of the Mayan calendar, the End Of The World, or as we prefer, the Edge of Time will bring a positive change in the global consciousness and the relationship between humans and all living beings. We only see one way in which this amazing and much needed global transformation can happen: If WE all make it happen!
This is the reason we have chosen this date for our next Tribal Gathering. Our aim is for this gathering to provide a creative sacred space for peoples and cultures of the world to harmoniously step together into the new cycle of existence the Mayans anticipated.
Bocas del Toro is a tropical paradise with 64 coral reefed islands, adorned with coconut palms and white sandy beaches, nestled in the warm Caribbean sea of the coast of Panama.
We´ll be waiting for you on the beautiful caribbean islands of Bocas del Toro, December 21-28 for the first of a cycle of 7 annual Tribal Gatherings, each one dedicated to one chakra. We will grow together year after year, inspired by the art and wisdom of ancient civilizations combined with cutting-edge modern culture from all corners of the planet.
In 2012, we´ll be exploring the first chakra and Our Roots In Mother Earth, setting the foundations for this evolutionary movement.

Twelve Indigenous Tribes of Central America will come to the festival to hold the first in a series of much needed conferences.
They will be having positive debate around the gathering theme: "Our roots in Mother Earth", discussing possible solutions for today´s environmental and social challenges. They will be holding workshops, talks, rituals, stories, dances, etc to help the global party community understand their cultures and realize how many common elements we share and how we can help one another.
Mayan shaman from Guatemala and the Americas will guide us in this epic journey into the new cycle to our full potential.
Western scientists, thinkers and body movement instructors will complete the educational cocktail for this area.
All structures will be built from sustainable, locally sourced materials. The event will be carbon offset. Food and drink will be provided by indigenous and local vendors. There will be a zero waste policy. Hand built Showers and Compost toilets.
As with all GeoParadise events, this festival will Leave a Positive Trace, providing funds and resources for the bioregion in many different ways.
A local NGO will be set up to run educational and environmental programs, empowering the local community to become more sustainable and resilient.
We have already started booking an amazing lineup of international high profile musicians. Picking the very best from the Psychedelic Scene with Progressive, Goa, Full-on and a touch of Dark ensuring the main stage absolutely brings it on. We'll post the line up as soon as contracts are finalized.
The Global stage will feature a more eclectic and laid back musical selection, with a blend of International, local and tribals acts.
We´ll dance together for a week to celebrate the achievements. A sense of purpose and belonging to a caring community will fill our hearts.
We no more are isolated tribes struggling to survive, we are one GeoTribe, the Tribe of the Earth, and we together will keep our loved planet a paradise. We call it GeoParadise.

For Love not Money
I love what Geoparadise is doing.. Really! More of us should commit to real world actions. I find too many of us are lost in our own self gaze, insisting that we still need to fix our self our spirits, while the real world around us races ahead without our input.
I'm fascinated to see what 12 indigenous tribes will get up to, it will be a great party for them I'm sure, being part of such an international gathering will be something they will cherish for a long time. Interested to see what NGO they set up?
With out a doubt you will see me there. :D
Agreeing with Uber Guru.
Go! Uber Guru. I agree with you entirely. More people should commit to real world issues and resolutions. Best of luck Geoparadise on your endeavours. Im interested in what the attending tribes will talk about. Quote: "Our roots in Mother Earth", discussing possible solutions for today´s environmental and social challenges. I'm sure their opinions will be enlightening and critical of the "Wests" apparent management of our planet. Will there be audio or video footage of the meeting?
Introspective assimilations
Do I hear a note of precursory evidential existentiality. Do you both truly believe that the reality of an entity's existence gives greater value to prove its existence than would be given through any outward studies. Is there not the slightest space in your hearts for something greater, bigger, bolder. Mathematical or simulation models may help understand a system or situation but real life always differs from the model. Are Buddhist monks wrong when they sit down to meditate? When we examine our inner self is it solely a selfish task? We might be concerned with the nature and scope (limitations) of knowledge. Maybe we are concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world. Can we be intuitive in a world that relies on concrete evidence? I think that deep in our hearts we all feel that there is or could be more to life than real world actions. http://www.unifyearth.com/ and http://peace2012.net represent two groups with the, dare I say it a bold concept that real world issues can be met by an global alliance of conscientious thought. Lets see what happens when the hour glass runs dry on 21.12.2012.
