Visionary Art Censored by Face Book

I recently was encouraged by a member here to tell my story about being recently banned from Face Book.
I had been a member of there for several years, posted quite a bit, and I posted my art though my profile there to share with freinds and to sell prints occasionally to some of them. It was hooked up through my flickr site so that my new peices would show up automaticly.

The NEW Cosmology

These videos and I think Brian Swimme has done an amazing job, taking what we know about the origins of the universe and combining them with what we know about conciousness theory and world spirtual traditions.
So much of what I see "evolving" in many peoples posts here is exactly what he has so elloquently shared with us in these videos here.

Enjoy these they are amazing!

Be the white Blood cells of the earth

Quite a few years ago I went to a small talk put on by local permaculture activists focusing on Amazonian shamanism, by a friend of Terrence Mckennas. The subject was on ayahuasca... a subject I was very fascinated with at the time, and knew a bit about.

Mother Mars

Inspired by my response to one of Vinces blog posts...

So people have been planning on colonizing mars for a real long time now.
{In a major space policy speech at Kennedy Space Center on April 15, 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama predicted a manned Mars mission to orbit the planet by the mid-2030s, followed by a landing:

Grounded, intigrated spirituality

I am curious with all fo the talk on spiritual perspectives and practice here, what the outcome of your practice is in your daily life? How is it effective in making changes in how we live, in how we relate to others and mot importantly what we do? How does it effect the social and ecological impact your life style has on the planet and those that share this planet with you.

Is your computer alive?

Why we should treat rocks with respect

“Are all rocks alive?” That was the question that Irving Hallowell, an American anthropologist, asked an old Anishinaabe man he was visiting in southern central Canada in the 1940s.

Mother earth and Mother Octopus: The suicidal birth of self reflexivity

~The Hawaiian creation myth relates that the present cosmos is only the last of a series, having arisen in stages from the wreck of the previous universe. In this account, the octopus is the lone survivor of the previous, alien universe.~

German Translation of Graham Harveys Animist Manifesto

German Translation of Graham Harveys Animist Manifesto
Special thanks to Her DragonMill and Christian!

Alles, was existiert, lebt.
Alles, was lebt, verdient es, respektiert zu werden.
Was man respektiert, muss man nicht unbedingt mögen.
Jemanden nicht zu mögen ist kein Grund, ihn nicht zu respektieren.
Jemanden zu respektieren ist kein Grund, ihn nicht zu essen.

Animist Service Societies

Lately in the face of having an real up and personal look at our current social system, as well as looking at the new laws on health insurance, I find myself thinking back to earlier times as well as other cultures who take care of each other in a much healthier way.
