Do you think God, if he exists, is really concerned about lines on a map and preferring one side over the other? The tides of truth are hostile to our propensity to project, label, and demarcate.

The oppressors are those who want to control and manipulate the coercive powers of State, those who want to game the rules, change the playing board in which the game is played for their financial well-being, often at the expense of the citizen.
(1) The State does not serve as an effective counter-weight to corporate interests. Rather than responding to the will of its constituents, the State has increasingly become a tool to protect the financial interests of the politically connected.
Everybody who is familiar with Terence is familiar with his theories about how language came to be and how it evolved. Well, I used to not really take his ideas seriously when it came to that certain aspect of his philosophy until I read this.
