EvolverFest Atlanta 2009
A global movement is growing in our own backyards. From urban homesteads to yoga studios, inspired groups of people are coming together across Atlanta under the shared vision of a more beautiful world. The time has come to recognize our common dreams and make them a reality.
On Sunday, June 7th, Evolver Atlanta presents the first annual EvolverFest, a one-of-a-kind festival experience bringing together our city’s most visionary Evolutionaries for a day of enlightening ideas and conscious celebration.
EvolverFest features two stages, Connexus and Inspiral, with transformative presentations from regional and internationally recognized speakers, live music, and interactive art in an alcohol free, family-friendly atmosphere.
EvolverFest will be held at the Lake Claire Community Land Trust (LCCLT), an idyllic, communally owned “greenspace” in the heart of the city and the ideal home for this event. Festivalgoers can shop for eco-conscious gifts and explore cutting-edge green technologies while sipping an iced chai in the Evolver Bazaar. Pioneering non-profit organizations and innovative local initiatives will also be on hand, for those looking to link up and join the evolution. Enjoy healthy snacks and frosty drinks available all day, and be sure to bring a bottle for complimentary water from the solar-powered well!
EvolverFest runs from Noon to 10 PM, rain or shine. The cost of entry is 10 dollars for adults, and free for children aged 10 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian. A portion of admission proceeds goes to benefit the LCCLT and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
