Welcome to the Evolver group for our inaugural Evolver Intensive, "Beyond 2012." We truly appreciate your participation in this series, and hope that you find it rewarding. Daniel, Adam and I have been having a great time with the series so far, learning from our guests, as well as from the insightful questions asked by you all -- as well as the thoughtful emails you've been sending to us following the calls.
This group page is where you can share your reflections and insights with one another.
It's also where you can tell Daniel, Adam and I what's working for you and what isn't. Your comments about the overall series are extremely helpful for us as we plan future Intensives.
We're excited about the potential for these call-in discussions, how they can extend connections between folks in the Evolver community, deepen our collective knowledge, and contribute to a growing foundation for transformation -- our own and society's.
So please let us know what you think!
And thank you again for being here.
cheers,
Ken

what i think...
well, i had been feeling really stressed about changes taking place around me and wishing there were people i could connect with to exchange ideas, so when this forum came up it really caught my attention. I've really been impressed with the callers lined up so far, everyone seems to have a different slant on a similar subject, which for me in a nutshell would be, "the world is changing as we know it, here's some things you may want to bring along for the ride". I was absolutely blown away by the call with John Marshall Roberts - this was a catalyst for a huge switch in thinking on my part and really helped settle the stress I was trying to deal with. For me this had everything to do with the listening part of communication - basically taking the energy of information presenting itself and processing it through a filter of compassion, love and hope. This step seemed to help me settle down and start working from a place of, I don't know, not being so attached but in another way being really attached...
The welcome wagon
I guess this can be the intro thread.
I am really excited about these call in teachings. I live the energy of calling in and hearing all the beeps, hellos and stuff. I'm bummed the next call is scheduled on the evolver spore day.
I really liked John Marshall Roberts' and Carmen Mauk's interviews. John's is really useful for me and Carmen's is very inspiring. I had wanted to work at the city county level here on the emergency response cert team after working on the one on the campus I was attending. I am finding out that nothing really exists so her info was very timely and inspiring. I want to focus on that and community gardens for my regional evolver. I would love to get in touch with Carmen to ask her about her transformational leadership masters degree and related stuff. I will try getting her through their site.
Anyways, it is really great to be a part of this with you all and can only imagine what great things we will achieve through our unity and support.
Peace,
Dionysios

Hello Beyond 2012ers!
I am happy to be a part of these calls, and happy to listen to them again to really let them sink in!
I got my "Igniting Inspiration" book signed by John Marshall Roberts at the LA Evolver Launch Party (and I'm 3/4 of the way through it; I feel like it was written for me, so I must be a Yellow thinker!), so I really got a lot out of his call. I still need to listen to the first part of Satyen's call (I somehow didn't receive the call in # and code beforehand, but then I was able to email for it, and received it right away, so thank you for being prompt! :) ), but what I did hear was inspiring. And being a Burner (one who attends Burning Man), of course I was excited to listen to what Carmen Mauk had to say! If I can get the blessing from our neighbor who owns the land in our neighboring area, I'm going to create a Community Compost Corral, and teach those who participate how to compost!
Like Dionysios, I'm bummed that our next call is going to be on the same night as our Spore (in LA for me), but there's always the recorded version!
I've got a great boyfriend and awesome friends, but very few of them 'get it'. Sometimes I feel like there's no one to talk to that understands the changes that are occurring on earth and in each of us. That's one of the reasons I joined Evolver and these conference calls!
So thank you Ken, Daniel and Adam for putting this together. And thank you to everyone else for opening up your minds, hearts and souls to participate and support this *fantastic* teleseries!!!
much love, Carrie

:(
I have to bow out of the live calls and wait for the downloads as I didn't figure my phone minutes into the cost of this series, too bad there isn't a skype option.
Peace,
Dionysios

Dionysios
Hi, I'm going to try using a calling card on my phone which should make the long distance for 90 minutes $3.60. I use Vox cards but I'm in Canada so I don't know the availabilty where you are. Look for the fine print on cards cause there's usually some limit, or they charge for no less than 5 minutes, in increments of minutes not seconds... but I get ahead of myself... for these call ins, it's fine.
MInd you this is the first call I can make the time for so I haven't proof it works, but hte card says it's good for north america. (712? somewhere in the states)
Hope it helps, Mark
