By definition a church is really just a belief system. Though it does have some real bad cogitations and my hope is that we can change the perception of what a church is suppose to be.

In my view and by some definitions the word church simply means a shared belief. In addition I felt that using the word church would help many people who put "unintentionally" negative cogitation of spirituality on anything that isn't a church. While at the same time every spiritualist I have met is usually more open minded and willing to see what something is really about before judging it.

When I use the word God it isn't in the form of some being sitting on a thrown passing judgement but rather of a being that's creative thoughts created the basis for all existence and in turn our consciousnesses to grow and learn and reach higher understandings of the multidimensional universe that we all exist in.

Even in the Seth Speaks book, Seth tells of a God that isn't what we view as God in our current religious paradigms, that the view of God that we have/had is a concept that was far off base. I believe that thanks to People like Amit Goswami and others we are now starting to get a better view of what/who God might actually be and that anyone who believes in Cosmic, Universal, Spiritual or Quantum Consciousness they are all actually believing in the same thing. This means that it is only our self imposed Doctrines and Dogma's that have created separation in beliefs and that beliefs are only different paths to the same types of enlightenment.

I struggled with this concept and how to express it and still do. There are negative and positive aspects of using words to describe a belief system that simply states each individual consciousness has its own path of spiritual awakening or enlightenment.

I became ordained years ago simply because I didn't feel any church or single belief system had the answer to my spiritual questions. I relate to the teachings of Jesus but not the ones most are aware of yet many are part of my beliefs. I say this because when I found the Agnostic text and read them. I realized that Jesus was a spiritualist not Lord as in God.

Jesus and Buddha have a lot in common more then most people realize. So while I am a Christian I'm not at the same time. In the agnostic text it was made clear to me that Jesus as a lord wasn't the same that the church tried to teach me earlier in life. Jesus was like Buddha trying to explain something far greater then people at the time could comprehend due to limits in language and understanding. In addition the word lord meant leader in Jesus's time. Also, when saying things like "I am the path" that didn't mean to worship him as a God but rather follow his teachings as they were a path to spiritual enlightenment and a greater understanding of God. Imagine trying to teach people 2000+ years ago about the nature of an atom, with no scientific language to express the idea's. Then to further that, trying to teach the concepts of a multidimensional existence with no words for either of those concepts because there was no science to base the ideas on. What we take for granted wasn't even available then for use. All spiritual leaders really had their work cut out for them and a very limited tool box of words and understanding to work with.

So in the Church of Quantum Consciousness we do not teach from the bible or any other book directly. There is no literal interpretation of text. We do not believe that one persons view must be followed while another is wrong and so on. I believe that all the books hold truths for the individual, and that the individual can use many of the texts of religion and spirituality as a path to enlightenment and/or higher awareness. That because of the limited paradigm of our existence we are only now starting to gain a base understanding of our consciousness and what God or Quantum Consciousness might actually be.

So, as I state on the site a "quantumist" believes consciousness is the driving force behind reality.

I believe that Quantum Consciousness is God and everyone can have any individual perception they choose. So God in my view is the essence of life and matter, and exist in every atom of everything in the entire universe and every dimension in this multidimensional universe we exist in. So God to me is shorthand for a greater or Quantum Consciousnesses.
