Consciousness:

Consciousness is intertwined with awareness and perception. I hope by the time you reach this point you saw that all are connected. Perceptions aid in awareness and finding consciousness. One requires the other. I have broken down the levels of consciousness, awareness and most other concepts in spirituality into three levels of each in a way that I could understand where I was and see myself moving forward in my spirituality. This is why I teach there are three levels to everything. This concept of course is usually modified by each individual which is exactly what I want you to do if you need to. My way isn't always the best way it is my way and my hopes are that you will gain a perspective from my way that allows you to find yours.

First Level: We reach the first level of consciousness by understanding ourselves. This is when awareness meets consciousness and you realize that being conscious of yourself and the world around you is part of you and your perceptions. This is when you truly find yourself asking deeper questions and know with no doubt that consciousness is what you are and that your physical being is only a vessel in which you use to interact with the physical world.

Second Level: Once you have realized and have a grasp on your consciousness it is an easy path to the second level. A deep understanding of the relationship between your consciousness and subconscious. It is the subconscious part of you that has the ability to perceive non-local consciousness. This is the first part of true enlightenment.

Third Level: It is at this level that we begin to learn to explore the universe as a consciousness and not a physical being. This level is marked by knowing you are part of the whole and feeling that you are part of that whole. Communing with nature first, then gaining intuitions that lead you on a path to Quantum Consciousness. It is here that we realize we are all made in God's image as God is the consciousness that we all exist in. It is here that we find The Holy Spirit, Nirvana, Mother Earth, Zen and so on. It is also understanding that all of these feelings of communing with the heavens or God are the true perception of the whole and that it is only our personal perceptions that define the experience, the experience does not define the perception.

It is here that you will realize that we all seek the same thing. It is now that you can let go of religious bias and allow each person their own path to enlightenment. It is not the path we take or the journey that is important it is understanding that we all have our own parts to play and we can not possibly perceive how others have gotten there. Because you can not share your internal experience with anything other then Quantum Consciousness "God". Just knowing that the plan for each of us is different and you must have faith that doing what is right for you, your community and the world will better the universe we all share on a greater conscious level.

Spiritual Consciousness The betterment of the Soul

we are going to discuss the spiritual consciousness or our soul. Spiritual consciousness is completely different then social consciousness or awareness. Being conscious of social issues is important but knowing your own consciousness is more important.

Each of us spends much time in altered states of consciousness. Many of these times we don’t even realize that we are having an altered moment or disconnect from our physical consciousness so to speak. While we go about our day mesmerized by this illusion of reality and acting out a the play we all call life we fail to realize the extent of our existence and the powers of our own consciousness.

To give validity to your consciousness you must first realize it is separate and with us at the same time and it is what we are. Taking into account that your body is made of living cells and over a life time those cells will be replaced many times over. As we age we see the inability of those individual cells to re-produce exactly the same, contributing to the aging process and the brain sends signals to also age us. However, did you ever think that in reality your body has died numerous times over your life time yet your consciousness remains intact and unchanged? How is this possible, if death is such a final aspect of existence? I feel it is quite simple, death is not final it is only a step in the evolution of your consciousness or soul.

No one man or women or better yet being is permanently affixed to the physical body. A simple interpretation of the brain is all we really need to understand why it is such a mysterious organ to scientist who want to explain it in its entirety. The brain is simply a router in a sense sending and receiving information from the world and sending that information to your consciousness and in return receiving information from you consciousness to interpret and act upon. Allowing the thoughts and intuitions to pass from your consciousness into the understood reality in which we live. It is a gateway that allows us to experience this world and creates the bridge needed for a portion of your consciousness that is not in the body to interact in this reality. While at the same time we gain the experiences and knowledge learned while here in this reality in order to grow our consciousness in all realities. This means that the only really important thing about this existence is what you have learned while you are here. You must endeavor to gain a deeper understanding of your actions and why they are important and what you can learn from them. If you ignore what you have done you are learning nothing, at some point you will have to evaluate them, in order to grow and expand your consciousness.

If we begin to view the brain only as a gateway rather then a thought producer you begin to realize that it is consciousness that makes up a thought or idea easily explaining where thoughts come from. While science can show the thought or perception traveling through the brain it can not explain its moment of origin or why it is happening. They try but I don't have a lot of faith in what they are saying, so I think it is some really questionable theory. Science also can show the electrical path that a thought or idea may travel but it can not show how the thought creation as it is started. As most scientist and philosophers will agree it is usually the simplest answer that is the right one. So if you simply make one assumption just one, that consciousness exist both in unison and separately you can explain that the appearance of a thought in the brain, as a manifestation of a conscious idea not the creator of it.

So now, if you accept the concept that you have a soul/consciousness then accepting the idea that your soul is really in charge is a simple step. Once you do this the door opens up for a universe of possibilities. Just take a quite moment and think about something creative. Once you do, ask yourself where that thought came from? So did your brain just start random firing until you came up with an idea, or did you come up with an idea and then use your brain to materialize the idea in your head?

To further show my point that it is your consciousness feeding your brain information we can look at memory. Have you ever completely forgotten about something then a trigger, like a question or a smell sparks a memory. Then the more you think about it the more details that come back to mind. The more you concentrate the more of the memory that will begin to fade back into your mind. If the brain were programmed like scientist say it is, then those memories would be available for instant access. However, the further we travel in time and space from a memory the further it’s stored in our deeper recesses of consciousness.

This is what I call local and non local memory. Memories that are stored local are immediately available for use and can be access quickly and the brain is capable of storing massive amounts of information. In addition, we have our consciousnesses or soul memory. The subconsciousness acts as a bridge between them, giving us access to the non-local personal consciousness that is our true selves. But for most this only takes place when you are asleep. Always available just the access is a bit slower. This constant mix of conscious, sub conscious and non local consciousness are creating a ballet of thought, memory and intuition.

Non local consciousness both personal and worldly is sending us information all the time, now since your consciousness is existing beyond this time and space we must convert those intuitions ourselves into this reality. Let me bring up another example I believe most of us can relate to. I call it preparation thinking and intuition. What about when you start thinking of a friend you haven’t seen in years or maybe weeks for no real reason. The thought of this person just seems to pop into mind or when you are thinking of something that you would like to do or haven’t done in a while. Then very soon after these thoughts or memories just seem to pop into our heads, usually for me a day or two you run into that person or a conversation is sparked relating to that thought but you didn't start it. You will hear people say it all the time even a bit befuddled by it. You know, I was just thinking of that the other day or I was just thinking of him/her or you. This is your consciousness that is existing beyond your body guiding you. We have placed such blinders on ourselves and wrapped ourselves in this three dimensional world forgetting our consciousness is here for a reason. We don’t even notice these simple intuitive events and this is preventing honest self evaluation and facing our ugly sides as well as our good sides. No science written on the brain can explain these events they only hypothesize and/or dismiss them. Nor can any psychiatrist or physiologist explain the number of these events that take place in a life time. We call it coincidence so we can stay in our comfort zone of this reality and not have to face that there is so much more out there and deeper parts of ourselves that need evaluated.

The farther we stray the harder it becomes to accept what we really are. We are consciousness not flesh and bone bodies. Our bodies are made up of trillions of other living organisms called cells. This symbiotic relationship allows us to help them by feeding and protecting them, while they help us by providing a place for consciousness to reside while experiencing this reality.

This in my opinion is why people who are spiritual, truly spiritual, are under constant self examination. Realizing and admitting when they are hypocrites, or when they have hurt someone, or when they are being lazy. We should not make excuses for these things but when your intuition tells you it’s wrong, it’s wrong. It does not mater if someone else says it’s ok don’t sweat it. Yes, sweat it, your consciousness is trying to tell you something, if something is off in the air stop and evaluate why. It may well not matter to him or her but it matters to you otherwise you wouldn’t be getting signals from the real you deep in your spirit. Maybe you are here to evaluate yourself for this very moment and by following the lead of another, you will have to wait for another opportunity to learn to come around. This group mentality interferes with the ability of the consciousness to learn and grow and therefore is affecting your very being even beyond this life. What if you were supposed to learn one lesson during your entire life and you missed that because you missed every opportunity to explore that lesson and now you will have to relive and entire life to learn those lessons because you shut yourself off to your true needs and experiences you should have been having?

These questions about ourselves are the ones we have to answer; if you don’t feel you are living life like you should be you probably are not. So what do you do? Take a leap of faith on intuition? Why not, what can it possibly hurt in the big scheme of things. Most of the intuitions we receive are simple things that any of us can do. Others can be major life changes. I have restructured my entire life over the last couple of years but it’s working out. Was it easy? No it wasn't and in order for me to get where I need to it isn't going to get any easier any sooner. But I have decided to thrive on the struggle and learn from it. I have examined all the terrible things I have done, all the good things I have done and all the things I have no idea why I did them. I have faced my failings and found my strengths. Now that I’m aware, I see my mistakes sooner after making them and I do not have to wait a life time to evaluate myself. I am trying to improve who I am on a daily basis, some times with great success, sometimes with no success at all as I find myself slipping into life long habits. Now however, I’m far happier and I’m learning much more about the world I am living in and myself. Life is too short to worry about TV shows, money, political status or keeping up with the Jones’. In the big picture if you believe you have a soul or consciousness and that there is more to you then this physical body it is incumbent upon you to do something for that soul and its betterment.

I can only say this and it is up to you to decide if they are words of a fool or words of wisdom. Do what you have to do to grow your consciousness or soul, to better yourself and the world around you. Live in a world of wonderment not a world of fear. Never devote yourself entirely to one cause, always leave time to work for your own consciousness or soul.

I believe this, that in order to gain knowledge about your god or creator you must first understand your own consciousnesses. As it is your consciousness that is created in the image of god, not your body.

Church of Quantum Consciousness

Quantum Consciousnesses

Religion, Spiritualism and Quantum Consciousness are all related in the aspect of a higher being that is the Quantum ,Universal or Cosmic Consciousness. In my mind these are all references to a God so they are all one in the same.
Now that quantum physics has consistently shown the interactions of thought on partials it becomes harder and harder to deny that there must be something more. As Amit Goswami PhD Theoretical Physicist says “God is here, what are you doing about it?” We are left to only to re-examine our place in the universe as has been done since the dawn of man. It is very obvious now that we are not the center of the universe or the greatest thing ever created. To me it is clear that we all have an individual roll to play in the harmony of the universe. Through deepened self awareness and examination our roles can become clearer to us.
To further my exploration of consciousness I re-read Seth Speaks. In this book medium and channel Jane Roberts channels an entity called Seth. This book was written in 1970 and I read it for the first time in 1988 while serving on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt as an aviation electrician.
While reading this book the first time I became aware of the possibility that consciousness was not just part of my own being but was more. However, at the time I didn’t realize the significance and had a very hard time putting the pieces together in my mind as I had not learned enough yet in my life and was not anywhere close to a path of enlightenment. At the time it was purely curiosity that was driving my explorations; I was still a confused young man with no real grounding in my spirituality. I now realize my studies were leading me to a life long goal I wasn’t consciously aware of but obviously my greater self or deep consciousness new where I needed to go. I was receiving subtle signs all the time, always learning always evolving into the man I am now. I take my ordination very seriously as I now realize this is what I was meant to do. It seems so clear now but for years it was only a shadow of thought that I never acted on.
I highly recommend the Seth books to anyone who is seeking a spiritual awakening and a greater understanding of consciousness on every level and its design and inner workings. Also an examination of the four noble truths as laid out by Buddha. The holly bible also contains much about spirituality but it is rarely taught in church. It is a good idea to examine the similarities of many religions should you need re-enforcement of the concepts that bind most religions.
Awareness leads to the understanding of consciousness in its relation to the whole. Spiritual awakenings take place in all religions; most of these people who become aware of the whole have a life changing experience and when the mind is clear to receive intuitions from the whole it always leads to people doing good work and a greater kindness towards their fellow human beings. It is in the commonalities that when we exam religions and belief systems ourselves we find undeniable truths about empathy and kindness. I want to point out some material not regularly quoted from the book Seth Speaks, but what I feel is the most profound paragraph in the book. I believe that in this paragraph Seth through Jane Roberts speaks of how consciousness is everything in a way that most anyone can grasp.

“The atoms that compose the fetus have their own kind of consciousness, the simple component consciousness made up of the atoms that compose it. This exist before any reincarnating personality enters it. The consciousness of matter is present in any matter – a fetus, a rock, a blade of grass, a nail.”

There is also agnostic texts where Jesus in book of Thomas, is portrayed as a spiritual leader or lord, is teaching a path to enlightenment. I also believe there is a clear indication of the manifestation powers of consciousness in this teaching that would had been very hard for man to comprehend at the time.

“I am the light that shines over all things. I am everything. From me all came forth, and to me all return. Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift a stone, and you will find me there.”

So the concept of shared consciousness and consciousnesses being the base of all reality is there. The ideas that all mater is made of consciousness is taught. This to me is the foundation of quantum consciousness, a concise description of how consciousness is matter as it exists at the atomic level. Now 40+ years after these revelations in the Seth books and over 2000 years since the original teachings of Jesus we are finally getting it. We can see science confirming this via quantum physics. To just reaffirm this, partials are waves and waves are partials. It is now believed by many Quantum Physicists that mater only exist via the direct affects of consciousness. These most basic components are directly affected and controlled by consciousness. Therefore, a greater or higher consciousness holds this universe and all the dimensions of possibilities together so we can enjoy our lives, learn control and gain wisdom while we are growing towards becoming a higher aware being.
Lending credence to the concept laid out by Seth & Jesus that the actions of a single cell organism are joined and guided by consciousness not the physical brain. As we explore the doctrines of nearly every religion we will find concepts that lend credence to consciousness being the creator and maintainer of our reality.
It is the individual not the church that finds the path of awareness and enlightenment. I feel I need to define enlightenment for the purposes of understanding exactly what I’m talking about. Enlightenment is the realization that you are part of a greater whole. It is the complete understanding that by all of your actions and thoughts you affect not just yourself but the world around you. In addition, to fully become an enlightened person it must be undeniable to you that your goals in life should be first for your growth and the maintaining of the world and in doing so your actions will also better the whole.
Since consciousness is the least understood aspect of our being by science it must be that we can only understand it internally. Knowing you are conscious both in your body and outside your body simultaneously is enough to start down the path of enlightenment. I really like the teaching of the Buddha on this subject; this is a wonderful quote that may cause years of examination of your own consciousness.

"I reached in experience the nirvana which is unborn, unrivalled, secure from attachment, undecaying and unstained. This condition is indeed reached by me which is deep, difficult to see, difficult to understand, tranquil, excellent, beyond the reach of mere logic, subtle, and to be realized only by the wise."

When looking at this quote I see wisdom is required to reach this state of enlightenment. We must bare in mind that there are many types of wisdom but few people today have much of it. Being street wise does not help you grow spiritually, however, examining the causes that made you street wise will lead to a higher awareness of yourself and why you are street wise. So wisdom can be gained but not directly, we have to exam within ourselves looking at the picture and evaluating the positive and negative aspects and where we fit in.
We all must gain wisdom from our experiences otherwise they are just experiences with no substance. So ask yourself about things you have done in the past. Evaluate your own actions using a greater whole as a scale rather then the self. In this we can become more self-aware of our previous actions and move forward wiser and in a more positive light.
