The debate on global warming is going in the wrong direction. It does not take a scientist to look up the pictures of the ice caps to see the recession over the last 30 years. Since we can not debate that they are shrinking and weather monitoring has definitively shown and increase in global temperature we have to prepare rather then argue about the cause. It may be human, it may be solar weather or even earth based. The fact of the matter is it's happening and it is to late and the technology is not public if even available to fix it. So, bearing that in mind how should we spend our time. Arguing about cause or looking to the past to prepare for our future.

If we look into archeology we find that there are 100's of known towns, cities and temples that litter the ocean. These were obviously built before the last ice age began to end. Humans even today build cities near the water. Why wouldn't they in the past considering the massive resources that water provides. So, we need to stop arguing about the age of the human race and why global warming is happening and begin preparing to move mass populations away from areas that will become flooded in the near future.

We must start to analyze where is going to be safe, start moving resources to those area's and rebuilding our cities and farmlands in safe areas. This way when the current area's flood and become useless we will already have emerging infrastructures to support the human beings that are on this planet.

So lets not argue about the causes of the situations but begin putting idea's fourth that will help ensure our future.

What's your idea on rebuilding for the future?

Deterioration of Rights and how the affects us Spiritually.

Ever since 9/11 2001 we have seen a slow process of rights reduction. However this is actually at a faster pace now then ever before. The derogation of our rights in the US actually goes back many decades. The most notable was Nixon declaring a war on drugs. This was a repeat of history after the failed attempt to ban alcohol created such a vicious underground moffia that lead to the remanding of those prohibition laws. Now however we see a far worse approach and use of the war on drugs. Ever since its beginnings rights of citizens were taken away to push the successful conclusion of the war on drugs. These same laws have now been greatly expanded on and new laws that have completely destroyed the power structure of our country by making the executive branch of government the most powerful the checks and balance system we have is all but eliminated. We are one disaster from the ability of the President to declare martial law and take the country over.

We have seen the reduction of religious groups throughout this country. Attendance in churches is at all time lows and spiritual topics are rarely covered anywhere. Instead we see the populous fed a steady diet of false reality TV, worthless news and lies on top of lies. We see people worshiping TV and Movie starts forgetting to spend time discovering their own spirituality. Spirituality isn't about how many days you spend in church or how many books you read. It is about self discovery and your connection to the universe. For some this is the connection is with the Holy Spirit, for others it is seeking zen, for me it's discovering my connection to the universe and non-local consciousness or quantum conscious that I view as god.

Today we see the government listing side religious groups as a threat to national security. This is the thought police, this is a clear violation of the freedom of religion. The part that troubles me the most is a majority of society is directly supporting this via action or allowing it to happen via inaction. The greater problem is what do we do when the government decides that all religions other then the one they choose are terrorist. I saw a video of police training where the founding fathers were named as the first terrorist. This was shocking to say the least. This is thought programming and not freedom of thought. When the concepts laid out by our founding fathers is attacked like this we must stand up and say I'm sorry you are wrong. Their acts were in defense and establishment of freedom not in the suppression of the people or to terrorize the people or control them through fear like our government is doing today. It is these types of attacks on the foundation of our country that threaten our ability to devote time to spirituality. The more time spend working and watching the TV the less time we spend reflecting and examining. In addition they create fear which is your worst enemy in any situation.

What has become lost is the understanding that freedom isn't safe but it is worth the risks. We now live in a country that attacks groups outside the so called norm in the name of public safety even when they have done no violent acts at all and are not promoting or inciting violence. We have shifted from a country of tolerance to a country of fear and intolerance. It is upon each of us to be tolerant of those we don't agree with and respect their right to speak, worship and be who they are whether we agree or not.

I have seen to much violence in my life most especially my time spent in the military during the first gulf war to see violence as a good means to an end. While I admit that violence is sometimes necessary it is not the means of change on it's own and should never be the first tool in your tool box. The first tool is knowledge of the whole issue. The second is Empathy for those who oppress you and understanding that cruelty has limits. However, some take a completely passive approach so others must step in to protect these individuals from abuses. That is the foundations of our country. To stand up and protect peoples rights as it is needed. This is not terrorism, it is freedom.

I want to clarify a few things also. Never mistake fighting in a situation that calls for it as pointless violence. For instance I would much rather die defending my rights and the rights of others, then being used as a tool to show others what will happen to you if you don't obey and create fear. Such as life long imprisonment, torture or execution. I would rather plant the seed of doubt in the oppressors minds that even good people will not lay down to the will of tyranny.

We are seeing the beginnings of oppression right now in the treatment of occupy protesters and the general public. A dangerous president is being set and the dehumanization of our police departments nation wide from peace keepers to enforcers. The change is not a shock it has been happening since the movements in the 60's. We see people who could be carried away being maced. Elderly people being maced at protest and strip searched at airports, scanners that operate on the terahertz wave lengths that break down DNA chains, legs twisted, bodies stomped on, hit with batons and tazers when people are not resisting or armed. This is oppression my friends. Most of the protests could have been broken up with the mass of police available with far less violent tactics. Instead we see an exorbitant amount of violence used against these people to subvert their message. Worst of all it is an attempt to create fear in others who would attempt to subjugate the system or defend the protester. While protesters go to jail the bankers and government officials who caused the problems remain free. This alone should tell you the state of tyranny we are already in.

Spiritually we have been broken down into groups. This creates fear of the other group as a lack of understanding is usually the cause. We see terrorist in any group we are not part of or nationality we don't understand. Let me pose this question to you. What if the entire world every man women and child were to become one consciousness today? What kind of world would we have? Do you think if you believe in a creator he would be pleased with the tree we have grown? If you don't believe in a single creator would you be please and happy to live in that world for all time? Or might the creator/s burn it down before it is aloud to bloom into eternity?

The signs of change surround us like the shadows of a forest darkening at night. Slowly closing in around you making escapee seemingly impossible. The wiser man knows that one can travel amongst the trees in darkness as long as he is aware of his surroundings and sets fear aside.
