I received this link from Colin Andrews this morning and watched it immediately. I couldn't break away from it to even warm up my coffee! I also submitted it as an Evolver News story, since the documentary was just released and first aired in Britain two days ago. The Evolver community as a whole will have a few takers, I'm sure, but if you're a member of this group, you'll definitely want to see it.
Hidden Truth is 57-minutes of key information and evidence, and you can watch it online at no charge. Some of the most objective researchers speak out about the evidence they look for in crop circles to identify them as man-made or genuine - and what they are looking for are the kinds of things I've been looking for in my own field research in the United States and in England since 1995. Richard D Hall also makes a well-researched and compelling case for MI5 (British Military Intelligence) involvement in the man-made crop art phenomenon, and why they may want to "muddy the waters" when it comes to the real deal.
By the way, please spread the word about this - I didn't even realise there was a "Crop Circles" group on Evolver until about a week ago, and I'm not sure if new topics are e-mailed to members when they are first posted. But I'd love to get some feedback from the group, and I'm willing to field any questions, so to speak, if you think of any that I may be able to help with. I'm not the world's foremost expert on crop circles, but I've been researching them for 15 years and had a lot of unique experiences involving apparent psychic communications with the genuine circle makers and have also documented a lot of great evidence in the field (much like Robert Hulse and David Cayton present in the film). Like the producer and his guests, I've also deduced that many (not all) of the over-the-top designs of the modern age of crop circles are not the real deal, even if they seem too perfect to be the work of humans. There's no point in denying that humans are behind many of the beautiful designs. More important is to question, "Why?"
At one point in the documentary, David Cayton says something to the effect of "a lot of people won't like this, but we feel only about 5% of recent crop circles are genuine." (Only 5%? Even one non-human made formation makes the phenomenon revolutionary!) That's about the percentage I have guessed on my own are likely non-human made these days - I feel that the percentage was certainly higher in the early days, and that it remains higher in North America than in the UK. Point being, if only a few of the crop circles nowadays are not made by humans, the implication is that we are NOT alone - something I've known all my life, basically. That's we're not alone is a revelation that UFO, ET, and crop circle disinformation-mongers want to keep out of the hands of the public so that they can orchestrate the disclosure - which, for the most part, they have successfully done, up to this point.
You don't have to believe in "all or nothing." Some are genuine crop circles from a non-human source, and some are human-made crop art, whether well-intentioned or not. The "Hidden Truth" documentary is key information for those who seek to separate the wheat from the chaff, and as such it puts a new lens on a subject that is still pointlessly out of focus for the majority of the population.

misinformation, authenticity & meaningless speculations
Even in this age where we are constantly manipulated with media misinformation, I had never even entertained the idea that there could be government involvement in this phenomena. But the info laid out in this video makes it seem not only plausiable, but also blaringly obvious. Why hadn't I thought of that already!
It is an ingenious tactic on behalf of the governement to turn people off crop formations. Personally, I know someone who has no interest in crop circles. I asked them why and they said because some are fakes, man-made. Even if some were real, they said, how do you tell the difference? How can you believe anything with certainty when so many are faked, and even some researchers are fooled by the counterfeits. It introduces a certain level of unknown that a lot of people are very uncomfortable with because they are unwilling to become a researcher themselves and prefer things to be "black or white".
The truth is, one can determine which are authentic and which aren't, it just takes objective scientific research, something that unfortunately not all "croppies" adhere to. There needs to be a standardized, widespread approach to researching the circles and hopefully private sector research teams will find the resources to implement such an organized move. I like the anology of crop circles as $20 bills. Some are counterfeit, some are real. It would ridiculous to not believe in money because some might be fake. We are assured that the technology and know-how to determine fakes are very prominent and immediately availlable to the merchant, and thus we whole-heartedly agree on the legitimacy of $20 bills.
It used to really bother me that more people did not develop an interest in this profound phenomena. I thought to myself, what could be more important than this? But now, I've come to suspect that it is all going according to plan; that people need to approach this information on their own terms. Like ripening fruit, people may become open to the implications of crop formations when they inhibit a certain level of consciousness. What does this mean? ...
To quote Albert Einstein, "I don't know, I don't care, and it doesn't make any difference."
