Crop Circle Season 2010 Has Begun

The first two crop circles of the UK season have appeared in the last week, both in yellow-flowering canola fields: http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/8158872.Crop_circles_appear/
I'm not especially thrilled by the design of the first one - to me, it seems a bit unbalanced and almost "forced." But the second one (see diagram at http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2010/stonehenge/diagrams.html) has a flowing and almost musical effect, somewhat like last year's Windmill Hill formation: http://inter-intelligence-communications.com/?p=697. As you can see by the comments posted at my article there, many people were very moved by the organic and synaesthetic feel of that formation. (Diagram by Chris Bird; I must say he's got quite an eye for balanced and pleasing aesthetics.)
Although these are the first two reported circles, there may be simple circles that have gone unreported. I'll try to keep updates coming to the group as North American season starts - most likely in the next month or so.
In the meantime, I'd like to see what responses you have, if any, to the first two designs of 2010.

Three weeks.
Since it has been 3 weeks and not an ounce of interest expressed in discussing 2010 crop circles (or any others, for that matter), I have elected to exit this group for now. Coming here and seeing no conversations going on doesn't really make me feel very inspired to continue trying. If things start to get active, John, please let me know and I'll come back!

Yeah sorry...I started this
Yeah sorry...I started this group and I havent done anything to get it going really. I find I'm usually discussing crop circles in the context of other things and I never end up discussing them unto themselves. Feel free to take on the cause of generating some interest via blogs etc, if you'd like. I think its just a matter of people knowing about it. For example the Dream Team group got a lot of members because it was featured on the groups page for a while, and now its in the "popular groups" listing so gets more people that way. I've found there's some extra effort required to get these things off the ground, but it does work if the topic turns people on, which this one should.
It isn't an easy topic -
Thanks, John - you make some good points here. I'll make one last plea for conversation but perhaps this is just not the right venue, and/or the right time for the discussions:
I have tried to get some conversations started here, but it's not easy with such an elusive and misunderstood subject. People understand "sustainability," "organic," "corporate greed," etc.....but "Crop circles" is an inherently confusing term - and therein lies a problematic obstacle to communication. The term "crop circles" is used to describe the "real deal" and the "hoaxes" both, but more and more these days the words describe what I prefer to call "crop art," and understandably, the fascination with a mystery that has (allegedly) been solved or proven fake is bound to dwindle. But if people only knew the real stories - worldviews, paradigms, MOs, would all crumble. That's a scary thought for many to entertain as well....
I think a lot of people are interested in learning what crop circles are (and the staggering implications they bring with them) as well as what they are NOT (which has a "ho-hum" kind of effect on people, I've noticed lately), and that's why they have been drawn to this group, but they just don't know what to say. (Many of those in the group don't seem to be actively participating in Evolver, either - which may explain a lot.)
In any case, I have posted numerous blogs here with the tag "crop circles," and I've also posted many more at my own website. I have a ton of evidence supporting the "real deal," and also a good deal of evidence for the "other" phenomenon - the crop art. Anyway, a solid documentary about the distinction between genuine, non-human-made crop circles and the crop art we see so much in England these days was posted here under the title "Brand-New HIDDEN TRUTH Documentary - Free Online Now." At least one person had a look at it, apparently, and posted a thoughtful response. If anyone else wants to develop good solid insight into some of the truth that is being suppressed or kept from the public, Hidden Truth is a verrrrry goooood start - but ONLY a start! I'm not sure if it's still available free at the site linked in the topic post, but if it is, I cannot recommend it more highly. The testimony and evidence for the true mystery will knock your socks off - if you let it.
Now what to do with the knowledge? Maybe the just not meant for everyone, after all. I do get the feeling some of us (like myself, and other researchers and "collaborators" whom I know) are deliberately pulled into the phenomenon - but even with as many years of research I've done I still don't know why and I have no idea whether or not I will ever have any "answers." I hope to present some of my research (photos, video, scientific sample analysis, and personal testimony) at the June Boulder Spore meeting, so if any in this group are local to Denver/Boulder, and have a true interest and an open mind, I encourage you to attend. Whether or not I present formally, I'll be there with evidence on hand! I find a lot of things in this cosmos very interesting, but nothing quite so interesting as crop circles, due to my experiences, which you'll find I share very openly and from a balanced perspective.
Anyway, if YOU are reading this and YOU have an interest in learning some "inside secrets" about crop circles, I cordially invite you to peruse my writings here and at www.inter-intelligence-communications.com.
