haha, I like this video. you see it circulating the net quite alot. and it seems like most cult awareness information, at least what i've come across, is presented in this sarcastic instructional sort of way. I took an online course in How To Start a Cult that was even more extremely tongue in cheek - it was run by Ivan Stang the reverend of The Church of the Subgenius
it's not just cults that we need to be aware of but group dynamics in general (which i notice you've put in the mission statement for this group) It's important to get together, the whole idea behind evolver, but in groups, egos tend to inflate, despots emerge and the whole thing becomes completely counter evolutionary.

absolutely. We all want to feel like we belong, and we want to have a purpose, but sometimes abusive or unhealthy relationships are the result.

If your community tries to guilt you by saying things like "you're not down for the cause..." then you need to ask yourself what the real root of the issue is, and whether your community is helping you meet your goals, or if you and the community have divergent goals, etc.
