common divinity

I sing the body electric,
the body magnetic,
the body in chemical ecstasy
the body working mundanely
the body mind personality
I sing
becoming vibration
moving through time and space
moving mental cognitions
of paradigms and conditions
movement of formless masses
chanting together
moving together
becoming a people
becoming a common complaint,
a common solution
a body of common sensation
able at last to relate
difference to difference
thesis to synthesis
because we are not the same
bodies sharing a common name
yet each our own rhyme and reason
not about hatred or blame
curing a common disease when
body to body
mind to mind
we become each in our own way
divine

namaste
one word rings true for me for divine presence in all of us. I have heard Seane Corn define "namaste" as:
"the supreme sweetness that dwells within my own heart and soul honors and acknowledges that same divine light that exists within you; we are one."
Taken in this light, this seems to be an ideal, simple, succinct way of seeing one another and relating on both the most simple basic level and the most involved level of divine thought.
Matthew Fox wrote an excellent book called One River, Many Wells. He uses quotes and scripture from many paths to demonstrate the underlying and core similarities among nearly all major world religions.
I believe that someday, we humans may be able to relate to one another based on this core that all traditions agree on, and at the very least, agree to disagree on the "small stuff" that currently gets the blame for inquisitions, crusades, wars and tyranny.
Namaste!
PS: Your poem works well from at least my perspective... well written!
