Phoenix Evolver

Hello out there. My name is Matt Young, and I spent the first 23 years of my life living in Arizona. I now live in Philadelphia, where I have finally discovered a community that resonates me -- something that I lacked so desperately in Phoenix. Much of that resonance has come from my involvement with our Spore out there. I have met so many wonderful people, and we are developing a tremendous community out there. It really depressed me, though didn't surprise me, that Phoenix was one of the few large cities without a Spore meeting. But now that I see there are people interested, I want to implore you to continue your efforts. While seemingly sparse out there in the desert, there ARE people out there trying desperately to evolve. Yet, as we all know, with the distance between towns, the heat, the fear-mongering, and the cowboy culture out there, it often feels like nobody is of the same worldview. Don't let that discourage you. Go out and "find the others". We need as much positive energy in Phoenix as possible. Thank you.
