Does anyone want to share any tips from their gardens....

I recently learned how to ferment tomatoe seeds to extract them for storing and creating a seed bank.

1. Squeeze the seeds out into a jar.
2. Fill the jar with a little water, roughly 1/4 of the jar.
3. Leave on a warm window seal until the surface of the water turns to into a scummy layer. This might take up to a week or so.
4.Siv the seeds through a wire mesh collinder and leave to dry out on a window seal.
5. Once fully dried they are ready to store, dark, cool, places are best and make sure they are tightly sealed, I use a plastic sealy bag and a jar with screw top. You can also freeze them.

Make sure you use Heirloom seeds rather than genetically modified.
