Australia gets nine visitors?

Hey,

Glad I found this group, looks very interesting. I've been paying more attention to my dreams over the last week or so, and it seems like the more I turn my mind towards paying attention to my unconscious, the more imagery I'm getting in my dreams.

This is the first one I recorded (6-7 April), and these are the notes I wrote on it when I woke up...

I have been given/have won a large 'luxury' boat, and am to sail the world. I am not alone when I realise this, and these other people (who I don't see) are to come with me.

I am to sail past the north tip of Africa and Australia, the latter of which I say, "... only gets nine visitors per week."

On its way to me, the boat is towed along an unknown (to me) street, with a large, well-lit bridge in the background (my impression is of being in New York, and this looks like Hell Gate Bridge, which I have never visited). The boat has a flaming torch mounted on its left side, and is being given a police escort. It is night-time. I see the boat from above, and it has an unusual 'T' shape.

I do not see anyone, including myself, in the dream.

Since, in the dream, I seemed to be in NY, it might be worth mentioning that I live in Scotland, and have never visited NY.

I'm still wondering about this dream, especially what the north tips of Africa or Australia might suggest, or why I feel that the north tip of Australia only gets nine visitors per week...
