Thought I would share this. In another place I was actually writing about another discovery... but as this dream was part of the discovery I thought I would share it...... I bet others have been mermaids too.. or merman...
The first time I dreamed I was a mermaid (in another life) I woke up to find myself swimming deep in the ocean. Oh it was so beautiful, the colors were so vibrant, and I could see all the way through the water, see the clouds in the sky, and up ahead I could see a mountain submerged beneath the water with its peak sticking out above the water, made it look like an island.. and there were villages living on top of this mountain... It was so beautiful. As I realized how deep I was inside the ocean, I began to wonder howit was that I had no problem breathing there.. and awoke realizing that I was a mermaid...

so this is the dream from this morning which is continued from another blog,
....but after a while I entered into a more quiet place.. and my mind drifted off to the place of my dreams.. woke up back in the life where I was a mermaid. In that life the villages loved me dearly as they lived on an island that was really a mountain with most of its body submerged beneath the deep. In the side of the mountain was cave that I could swim through that would take me to a place that had an airpocket. The villagers had built a stairway leading down to this airpocket/cave and they would leave me gifts of flowers that I loved dearly. In exchange for the gifts they left me I would guide their fishermen out to the best food.. I loved them dearly and they loved me dearly... I loved those flowers they would leave for me..

Beautiful images! Did you read stories about mermaids a while before the dream or was there anything to awake the images?
I think, that it is connect with a wish for freedom, transformation and exploring new realms within consciousness, yet you should maybe also spend some time at the ocean and of course IN the sea too!

In the original mermaid dream I had just bought a new crystal (this was in the 80's) and fell asleep with it laying on my forehead.. I've always believed that the link to the mermaid life was given through the crystal... Now this new dream is the second time I have found myself in the place of the mermaid life (but I traveled there for a different reason that I didn't share here.. It was a dream for healing to come inside my psyche. I was looking through time for another place where my daughter in law had become heartless, and in the dream she was a Siren pretending to be a mermaid.. That night when I had gone to bed I was upset because I was feeling like the seed of hatred had been planted inside my heart.. and awoke from the mermaid dream knowing that our mission with the daughter in law was to plant the seed of love inside her heart)
Water, anytime anywhere is great! However I am not that happy with the chlorinated water... or with the pollution in the water.... but water, pure water, is heaven.. and to stand under a waterfall (like a shower) is heaven.. yes, water is heavenly..... glad you got images from the dream... If painting was my focus I would have to paint my dreams.. some of the things I see are not of this world, and I find them absolutely beautiful, so I try to use my words to paint them....
