On July 5, 2008 I started having ‘permanent déjà vu’. For these last ten months I have had déjà vu all day long, every day. Along the way I have met a few others who are having this same experience of daily recall from dreams.
I traced my own dream to June of 2005 when I was in Homer, Alaska. I lost some time one night when I thought I had slept two hours but I had slept the whole night through and dreamed every day of my life for the next 7 years. When I awoke the next day I was living the first day of this seven year dream I had just that night. It was three years later (this last summer) that I actually could remember having this massive dream and trace it to 2005.
Now I am more used to this daily state of mind. Books I read, stories people tell me and movies all give me déjà vu. It is more just a continuous remembering now. Anything which heightens my awareness now will bring a clear memory back. The only people who believe this story are the others I have met who are having the same remembering all day long. We agree there are many of us all over the planet and we are waking up now.

Fascinating!

I was in Homer the summer of 1993 and began experiencing de ja vous regularly after a weird dream there as well. The on-going de ja vous continued for about 2 years, then shifted entirely to what I called "de ja no" which to me meant that it felt like everything that was happening around me wasn't really happening at all (as opposed to happening or happening before). That feeling went on for another year and then stopped. I don't recall what the dream I had was, and didn't connect that the dream was the starting point for the de jas vous and nos until I read your post just now. I wish I could go back and remember it.
