The Simpsons and the South Pole

Dreamt I was hiking with the Simpsons (yes, Homer, Marge, Lisa and Bart) to the South Pole. We arrived at the "South Pole," though it seemed more like the Grand Canyon - rock and stone. I wanted to explore and I expected the kids to say, "Okay, we made it to the South Pole, let's go back."

But they started looking around and got interested in things - pottery, stone pots, etc. Marge found a structure with a stone roof and a table with stone teapots and stuff on it. Homer stood in a big stone vat and said, "Oooooooooo! I'm taking a bath." They seemed ready to just settle in and live there.
