Greetings Atlanta Evolvers, explorers and friends,We invite you to
the opening night art exhibit of one of Evolver Atlanta's very own,
Rafael Lopez-Ivern, at Midcity Café. We will be raising funds for
EvolverFest 2010 and celebrating Rafael's beautiful body of work.
Come and explore his visions of heart, mind and spirit. A portion
of every drink bought will go directly to help EvolverFest become
an phenomenal success this year on June 20th. We hope you

Bio:

Rafael Lopez-Ivern lives and works between Atlanta and New York
City. In 2007, he received his MA in art education from Brooklyn
College. For the last three years, Rafael has been teaching visual
art at JW Arnold elementary. He has exhibited in New York and
Atlanta. His most recent endeavors were a sculptural installation at last year's EvolverFest and a group show at
Eyedrum.

The impact of air on the physical and spiritual self plays a large role in the work of Rafael López-Ivern. He thinks
of drawing as a pathway for his interest in various fields of study, such as metaphysics, science, spirituality, and
the perception of reality.
