Hi group!
I hope this is appropriate to bring up here but I'm an evolutionary astrologer currently living in Los Angeles, planning a move to Austin. My intention is to set up a few astrological readings with peeps in Austin so as to begin to network and earn a few referrals from my work. Evolver is the best place I could think of to plant the seed and make some connections. So as to make this endeavor more successful I'm offerring "Name Your Price" readings. I'm able to email the reading or have a phone session. I'd love some feedback if any of you have ideas as other ways I could go about this.

Hello there and blessings. We here in Austin are very open to such things. As far as E-mailing or doind a phone session I'm not sure. Getting involved with someone like that is a bit more personal, at least thats how I feel. I know that when we do get a monthly spore going here in Austin that would be something that might implement into them. I also know that people that I know that would be interested in your services would want to meet you and know where you are coming from on a personal level before getting a reading. I wish you well in all of your endevaors and look forward to meeting you in person sometime soon!!

I totally hear you about preferring to meet your astrologer in person, and have a live session. I too prefer to sit with a client in person.
As you might imagine, it's precisely because of my circumstances being here in Los Angeles that I am going the route of trying to set up readings this way (phone or email), so that I have a bit of a web of interest already in progress when I move. And thankfully there do exist people who would actually go for it, as I have done readings for people by email and phone before. Of course I would encourage anyone interested to speak with me on the phone before committing to having me read their chart. And I give a good phone interview.
I appreciate your feedback and the space here to plant the seed.

Hi all,
I'm writing as it has been on my mind that it just sort of struck me that of 34 members of this group, only 1 person replied to my posting last month. To be clear, I don't mean that I expected members of this group to necessarily sign up to have readings with me as a result of my reach-out post, but I do mean that I expected a bit more response just in the way of support. a few hellos, welcomes, or just aknowledgment of a fellow Evolver member putting some energy out there.
the nature of this Evolver site is to bring peeps together and spark a meeting of like-minds. The irony is I've received way more response and just general "aliveness" and vitality from people on facebook.
In signing up with Evolver I was filled with hope and enthusiasm for the potential here and I have to admit, I am somewhat taken aback by this experience.
I do hope the local spore there has a better response than my post.

Your post was perceived by me as a solicitation. I understand Evolver as an exchange of ideas given freely to help all humanity evolve. I, too, am/was an astrologer. I have moved onto other things. I myself can anticipate and read my own potentials. I may do some astrology work, some tarot, etc.....but as a donation to those who request it. Yes, donations do appear sometimes to me for my work. But they come thru gratitude.
My thought on reading your post was " what do you want to spiritually contribute here?"
Oh well, just my thoughts and 3D perceptions.
