Hey, I live in Houston so there is no way for me to make any meetings in Austin. I joined evolver austin because it was the only one in texas other than san antonio. So if I'm ever in Austin and you guys have a spore meeting I'm there. But in the meantime I can only participate here. Perhaps you should organize meetings or discuss some topics here so people can log on and have input. Just saying.

OK, can't figure out here how to post I guess.
I, too, joined Austin as looking for like minded souls to share and meet. Used to live in Austin so I chose it over San Antone. I have just returned home to Tx after years outwest. Been back less than 3 months, been watching this spore previously from Montana.
My excuse? Less than 3 months home, 12 hour shifts at a brand new job. I live in Galveston. If it was closer no problem.
Should have RSVP'd I apologize.
I know nothing of the OIL topic...could you post something to direct me? I am interested in the use of psychedelics in shamanism and psychotherapy for addictions, PTSD and the like. I am open to learning tho.
And, hey, sorry I missed the soul interaction and the dip. I send gratefullness and respect for SOMEONE taking the initiative to organize and move forward.

I'm in Houston and the drive makes meeting in Austin less attractive. How about holding a meeting in Houston? Or Galveston? I'll bring vegies and dip!

Fantastic....I have been back just 3 months and have a new job in same but different field at UTMB, getting my 3D house in order, LOL, so things have been crazy. Even tho I am from the gulf coast I am a bit overwhelmed with the dramatic change in cultures.
I would love to meet as this is one of the main reasons I joined evolver. Would love to converse and learn and expand.
Currently into the second half of Breaking Open the Head and as a psych nurse and 'old hippie type' am finding the documentation wonderfully vaildating. I am also interested in all the other topics on this message board.

so glad you are reaching out. There is a solution. I know from personal experience. It's alcoholics anonymous. I have been a sober member of AA for over 4 1/2 years and I can tell you my life has completely turned around. Google AA in your area and get yourself to a meeting! It's a miraculous and astounding program that absolutely works. I am happy to talk to you more about it.
