As we experience and bear/bare witness to the current financial meltdown, questions about the very solvency of our financial structure become more evident and hard to deny. What are the structuralist flaws in a capitalist system? What is this system built and dependent upon, and what are other alternatives to it? These questions and more we'll begin to engage with in our screening and discussion of Zeitgeist: Addendum- Part 1- Money.

Money for Beyond Money?

Why is there a cost of 5 dollars for this event? Firstly Peter Joseph made this film and posted online FOR FREE, he's stated numerous times that he encourages everyone to share it, watch it, burn it, give it away.....just not to charge money for it. It's against the spirit of The Zeitgeist Movement to profit from this message. Secondly, it seems a bit ridiculous to charge MONEY for a gathering/film focused on GETTING AWAY FROM MONEY.

More power to you for being informed on important issues, and trying to get them out there for people to see. We actually have an Evolver Group chapter of The Zeitgeist Movement for anyone who wants to discuss the films or The Venus Project.
