Do you have a tradition that you honour? that connects you to a particular tribe in a special way? Be it highland dance, singing sea chanties in the kitchen when the boats come in safe, a big communal meal at harvest time, or a sacred ceremony you perform on full moons?
This Saturday, one of the biggest events involving raising conciousness through celebration is happening WORLDWIDE and there's a small group of people here in Calgary that would like to participate. And we could use your help!
Prema Sai, Wholistic centre and Bankview Community center are hosting Earthdance Calgary on Saturday, Sept. 18th, from 5 pm-1 am, starting with a synchronized prayer at 5, connecting us with similar groups around the world, sending our prayers and healing thoughts to all reaches of the planet.
Didgeridoo player, Shine and his group, Dreamtime are playing after that, along with other local djs and food, drink, art, healing space will be there all night.
Since Earthdance and Evolver are both committed to bringing more light, love and understanding to the world, wouldn't it be AWESOME if we all celebrated together, and create a critical mass!
Earthdance 2010's theme is "Honouring All Traditions"...talk about massive community building potential!! What an amazing opportunity to gather together and share our dances with one another, our food, our dress, our own unique culture. I know I have a tradition of attending music festivals and documenting them, so I'd like to bring some of my photography to the event.
What do YOU want to share?
Calgary is on the verge of some major transformation and we, as a collective, can help guide it. Let's join forces and rock this!

Awesome idea!
I've posted part of this message to the Evolver Facebook group, great opportunity.
I'm in a First Aid course most of Saturday during the day, but hopefully we can work something out. We will definitely make sure that there is an Evolver presence in one form or another.
I already had plans to dance the night away at Subculture that night, so although I won't be at EarthDance physically, I'll be sending good vibes to the planet all night long =)
