Evolver Calgary October Spore: White Light, White Magic

***October 5th Update***

Exciting developments for this month's Spore!

Evolver Calgary is now a part of the Harmony Harvest Event at The Saskatoon Berry Farm (just south of Calgary) on Saturday October 23rd during the full moon. This amazing place, is NOT just a farm! Picture this: On a hill, overlooking the junction of the Sheep and Highwood Rivers, stands an amazing, high vibe venue just begging to filled with music, food, danci...ng, drinking, theatre, art, and US!! It has a restaurant, bar, yoga and massage room, bonfire pit down the hill, tucked in the Wild West movie set, teepees, hoodoos, greenhouses, and more! Full details of the night's events will be released soon :-)

DATE: October 23- Full moon- meaning lots of light to dance around outside at the bonfires!
TIME: Tentatively 7pm-2am
THEME: Celebrating and sharing abundance and gathering as a tribe of musicians, dancers, earth lovers, way-showers, and beautiful big hearted humans! Do we really NEED a reason? :o)

Evolver Calgary will have the opportunity to have a one hour time slot to fill with our wonderful brain goo surrounding our theme of magic! Any and all Evolvers are invited to come down and celebrate together in the magic of creation.

Our original date of Wednesday, October 20th will be used as a "pre party" planning event. Anyone interested in participating in an open discussion and planning session for Saturday around a campfire, roasting marshmallows is welcome to come over on the 20th. This will be a relatively relaxed evening of chit chat and brainstorming with an exciting "cross network" Evolver global activation of positive intentionality at 8:30pm, as we try an experiment aimed at helping our planet in crises. Evolver Spores: White Light, White Magic

Throughout history the word “magic” has been applied to topics ranging from spells and illusion, dousing and clairvoyance, to miracles and synchronicities. Shamanic traditions are said to use magic to imagine a new reality into being, while Western religions claim that the power of prayer can work beyond the realm of logical understanding. Today, quantum physics and string theory add to this mystery, creating new notions around the effects that thought and intentionality have on the world around us.

This month, the Evolver Social Movement invites you to take a walk on the lighter side of Halloween, exploring the art (and science?) of magic. Regional Spores might choose to discuss research by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Jung’s collective unconscious, “the Law of Attraction,” and the history and technology of different magical modalities.

Can a global network of awakening individuals conjure up magic through positive intentionality, or is this just a bunch of hocus-pocus? Join our 40+ Evolver regional groups as we put magic to the test with a network-wide white-light experiment aimed at helping our planet in crises (details of this specific “ritual” TBA).
