Honeey Mustard is a pillar in the Calgary electronic music scene. We can thank her for being an integral part of what the community is today. Music is a true passion for Honeey Mustard and we are super blessed to have her sharing that with us at Electronic Awakening!

DJ Nokturnal ( www.area709.com )

Nokturnal has spent the last many years creating amazing waves in Calgary's music scene. From dancer, to DJ, to producer and promoter, Nokturnal has been influential in helping people to see the consciousness in electronic music.

Monk-Key Marc and DJ Bruno:

Monk-Key Marc is a truly inspiring conscious hip hop artist and will be sharing rhymes to the beats of DJ Bruno. There will also be Shamanic Dance integrated into this awesome performance.

DJ Hush:

Drum n Bass, Ragga Jungle and glitch are Hush's true passions. He has spent many years immersing himself with these musical genres and has some true gems to share. From going to parties, to playing in his basement and now sharing rad sets at Shambhala in the Village, Hush always knows how to make a crowd move.

We can also expect to see:
-An awesome performance by Christy Leanne
-A sweet beat boxing set by Busy Beatz
-Awesome visuals

If you haven't been to the AREA before you are in for a special treat. It is a very unique indoor and outdoor venue located in the heart of Inglewood. It features 2 indoor spaces as well as an amazing outdoor space with a Permaculture inspired mandala garden, cob oven,awesome fire pit and covered seating area.

The investment for the evening will be $20 VIP ticket for both the film and the party plus free treats or $15 for just the party. More at the door.

Additional donations will be graciously accepted at the door!
Food and Cheap Alcoholic bevvies will be available.

Your investment for the event goes to Evolver Calgary to cover the Screening fee, event cost, support the talent and to help fund future events. Any additional donations above and beyond the ticket cost will be split 50/50 between the film makers for DVD production and Evolver Calgary.

Space is limited: We are looking at a capacity of 50 people for the film and 200 for the dance party, therefore please purchase your ticket in advance to secure your spot!

A.C. Johner
Director/ Producer
A.C. Johner is a cultural journalist and documentary
filmmaker. He is the published author of several
novels, including "A Concise History of Heaven and
Earth," and "The Singularity." As a journalist he has
published several articles relating to 2012, and is
currently finishing a book ethnography on the
Mysticism of Electronic Music Culture. He is
dedicated to producing visual and written
ethnography having to do with the shifting paradigm
of human culture.

Julian Reyes (Keyframe-Entertainment)
Executive Producer/ Music Director
Julian Reyes’ creative pursuits reflect a lifelong
dialogue with an array of art, music, and technology.
Julian is an artist manager, and event promoter; he
has worked as the San Francisco representative for
the Ultra Music Festival for several years and
collaborated on numerous Burning Man projects.
Keyframe's mission is to share the Bay Area's
underground sound globally, and to create
prosperity for the international electronic dance
community.
