Would love to get a little update re: how the Occult Bookstore gathering went last night... anyone? May be helpful for & appreciated by those of us who cannot make these events.

The spore was wonderful. The Occult Bookstore is the perfect setting for the Spores and will be our new monthly home. We had 15 in attendence. Three of us where already Evolvers and the rest where really into it and will be returning next month. The discussion was rapid and covered topics ranging from the Federal Reserve, the gold standard, time banks, education, sacred geometry, the slave trade, currency, the barter system and ways to develope a community less dependent on the monetart system. Eveyone was very insightful and respectful of each others ideas/ opinions. I highly suggest more of you come out and become a part of the Spores. It's truly amazing to communicate with others and learn from each other.
Hopefully we'll have 20-30 people next month and we can keep growing. The more of us there are the more we can achieve!!!!

I had a great time at the Spore on Wednesday night. It was a lot of fun and the people were great. I'm really looking forward to the next one...and hoping to bring some more people.

How would you go about starting a spore in your city? Im in Rockford and it would be cool to get one started. Is the owner of that bookstore a part of evolver?

You need to email Jonathan Phillips to get on the Regional list his email is jonathan(at)evolver(dot)net . You'll also need to start a group page for Evolver Rockford. The regional coordinators manage the regional Spores and the group pages. We have a Google groups page that we communicate via the internet daily on and a follow up conference call a week after each Spore. It's an amazing community to be a part off. If you have any further questions let me know. Hopefully Evolver Rockford will be up and running soon!!! It's awesome that you're willing to take on the challange.
