Hello everyone. I'm not sure what is going on for the Spore event, if anything. A friend and I are both planning to come out from the suburbs, and we're so interested in meeting cool people!

I will offer any help I can give, which is limited though since I live 40min from the city. One thing I do have is a little bit of knowledge about a few of the new and interesting things that are attractive to this community. I would be interested in talking to the group about transition town initiatives. Another thing I'm interested in and have some knowledge of are "social technologies" such as the World Cafe Process and Open Space. Ways for groups of people to come together and form new synergetic thoughts and associations, involving each individual's input completely, and see what new whole emerges from the "collective genius" of the group. Very cool.
