Rocked by the wind's unremitting dance,
the tent becomes waves on which we ride
the evening's last light.
A silver crescent gazes through the windownet,
voyeur among the glittering stars,
fixed upon our entrainment,
its slow course matching ours -
east to west and back again
in effortless progression.
I dive into you, the salt and sweet of
your long day diluted by the waves
of a wind-driven inland sea.
You flow into me. Summer's meltdown
quivers over smooth river rocks,
settling into pools of dragonfly dreams.

I see you get what I'm talking about here. I almost always have to speak in metaphor, even if it's to support something very solid and distinct, to separate it from the masses of other interpretations of "love," for instance. I appreciate readers who get the abstract (but then most of us who enjoy poetry do). And, as a side note, it was lovely meeting you this evening. I'm not sure I'll ever look at anything quite the same way again after hearing Nassim's talk tonight. I look forward to chatting again.

swimming in pools of dragonfly dreams!
great imagery, you could pour this poem in a glass and drink it, you could put it in a pipe and smoke it, probably use it in a humidifier and breathe it (yea definitely that last one.)

Thanks to all of you for the comments.
A big love inspired this one; love is my most powerful muse.
Guess it might be about time to invite love back in again.
