The Local Resilience Revolution

Resilience: The ability to adapt to crisis or change.

In a world fraught with uncertainty, increasing natural disasters, and inept government bureaucracies, an empowered and resilient local community is the best defense and means of survival.

Join Evolver.net Director Jonathan Talat Phillips to talk about how others in the Evolver network are working toward resilience. Local herbalist Julie James will bring us a special adaptogenic herbal remedy for stressful times. Shania Domingo will speak on group harmonics and meditation, and lead us in an exercise. Ben Lawson will inform us of his survivalism tactics, and Paul Tryba, our local biodynamic farmer, will be in the house to take your questions.

We will meet at 555 Pine Ave at 7:30pm Thursday night.
The event will conclude at 10:00pm, followed by Psychedelic PingPong at 517 Pine OR a full moon fire ceremony at the OC Healing Center in Fullerton, depending on just how local you'd like to stay.

Lastly, there are a few ways that you can contribute to this spore...

1. We invite members of community resilience groups to come and share their practices and projects (email lbevolver@gmail.com)
2. We also invite members of the community to bring hand-made wares to share, sell, and trade.
3. Raw food potluck. (bring fresh veggies, fruits, and nuts!)
