Just when you thought reality couldn't get any weirder, another regional spore assembles itself to uplift consciousness--this time, by celebrating that we are living in a universe imbued with intelligence.
Beginning at 2pm with a screening of "What on Earth: Inside the Crop Circle Mystery" with filmmaker Suzanne Taylor, Long Beach Evolver's "Life in the Universe" includes an afternoon of music and dance to benefit the opening of The Infinite, a donation-based yoga and sacred movement center, and the Long Beach Time Exchange.
Reality Sandwich contributor Amy George will also be on deck with her new piece, "The Alien Within."
Evolvers, yoganauts, and the creative community will elevate their taste with the best space-hop in this corner of the galaxy by Lovers INC (Shania D and Ashley-Dominique), Akasa, Healing Mystical Science, SunDream, and the lucid-dream-inducing septet, Familiar Trees.
The Infinite is an extension of AXÉ LA, whose mission it is to celebrate yoga, martial arts, and sacred movement in Los Angeles County by connecting the diverse communities of LA to free and donation-based classes, events, workshops, and activities.
Come out and meet some weird (yet absolutely brilliant) humanoids!
Suggested donation is $11 at the door, or pay-what-you-want advance tickets at Eventbrite.

Suzanne Taylor, Producer/Director of What On Earth? Inside the Crop Circle Mystery (http://www.WhatOnEarthTheMovie.com/), has been involved with films since she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from NYU. Having been an actress, she crossed over to the other side of the camera as the Executive Producer of the feature documentary, CROP CIRCLES: Quest for Truth. In 2009, What On Earth? won the EBE Award for Best Feature Documentary at the UFO Congress Film Festival, the event at which the other film won the Audience Award in 2003.
As the founder of Mighty Companions, a non-profit dedicated to consciousness expansion. She writes a blog, Making Sense of These Times (http://TheConversation.org/), where posts about progressive ideas include considerations of how consciousness might evolve and how instrumental the crop circle phenomenon could be in that regard.
