When we look at the technical progress humanity has made in the last two hundred years, it seems quite likely that any tool-using species that survives past our current stage of civilization will possess powers and abilities that we can barely imagine. The possibility that other species - even galactic federations - monitor life on earth seems less and less farfetched. Some see this as reason to celebrate - others as cause for alarm.

Join us as for this special evening as we explore Life in the Universe, or at least, the Universe of Los Angeles, hosted by Evolver LA’s own sleeper CIA operative, charlatan and resident E.T., Baza Novic.

We will engage in an intimate discussion with the Executive Director of the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee (X-PPAC) Stephen Bassett, as well as friend of the spores, Suzanne Taylor who will discuss her award winning documentary on crop circles “What on Earth?Inside the Crop Circle Mystery.” and the notion that the circles are coming from elsewhere, and how hard it is for us to take that seriously. As a community we'll talk about the fears, hopes and experiences associated with Aliens Among Us. In this Spore, we will explore the case for and against alien visitors, and the theoretical intricacies of intergalactic diplomacy. As we seek to shed light on this esoteric area, we might explore the "myth-histories" of ancient and indigenous cultures from the Sumerian to the Hopi who describe beings from the stars coming to earth. Is this mere folktale or part of a true never ending story that continues to unfold through our time?

Other topics that we may discuss, but not limited to the following are:

•Advance beings and the dawning of modern man, genetic manipulation and the idea that the earth is under galactic quarantine.

•Are there Interplanetary colonies already?

•Is reversed engineered technology being suppressed while the world fights over finite resources.

•What is the validity, intention, and implications of the channeled materials from the Sirians, Pleiadians and others?

•What really happened at the Dulce base incident?

•Who and what are the walk-ins and can we believe or even trust them?

•Are DUMB (deep underground military bases) preparing for something we should know about?

•Are we the starseeds?

•Are these ideas of inter planetary beings fantasies related to humanities mental condition seemingly being schizophrenic and amnesic resulting from the collective consciousness’ case of PTSD that has developed from the wars and paradigms of colonization, and the alienation from nature and each other?

We may never know these answers but we feel it is important to discuss the topics ranging from Roswell, and popular cultures depiction of first contact from Arthur C. Clarkes ‘Childhoods End’ to X-files and the V series.

Suzanne Taylor, Producer/Director of What On Earth?
