Is anyone doing a screening of Pinchbeck's film 2012: Time for change? I just moved to New Orleans so I don't really know enough people to do this but it'd be cool if someone did.

It would be great if we can do a screening down here. If either one of you wants to take it on, that would be really awesome. Zeitgeist is probably our best bet. Pyrtania only has one screen so that would not work. Another option would be Canal Place, nuch higher quality and closer to the quarter and bywater. Let me know. I can also contact Rene at Zeitgeist to assist in lining it up as We have arranged screenings with him in the past. Glad that you are both on board to bring 2012 to new orleans

Hey guys, thanks for responding! It would be great to get this movie here. Do these theaters let other people book films like this, or do we just have to hope that they decide to screen it themselves? If so, should I also email them to request it? I'll do whatever I can to help.

Its my understanding that if we were to do a bigger venue like zeitgeist or canal place then we would have to go through the movie's distributor. This is good ultimately we want to do this. THe offer to hold selective screenings would allow us to get together like at an evolver spore and show it to a small group both can and should happen. I'll be seeing Daniel this weekend in Costa Rica so I will talk to him more about it.
