Throughout history the word “magic” has been applied to topics ranging from spells and illusion, dousing and clairvoyance, to miracles and synchronicities. Shamanic traditions are said to use magic to imagine a new reality into being, while Western religions claim that the power of prayer can work beyond the realm of logical understanding. Today, quantum physics and strin...g theory add to this mystery, creating new notions around the effects that thought and intentionality have on the world around us.

Come join us at The Benson Grind, with guest and Shaman, Greg "Woody" Gruber, who will be speaking on the nature of Shamanism, Shamanism in the 21st Century, and how it can be used for personal power and healing. Following the presentation will be group discussion, question and active participation using Shamanic practices as a group.

Greg has worked with a number of Spiritual teachers including; Betsy Bergstrom (Shamanic teacher and practitioner), Sandra Ingerman (author of Soul Retrieval and educational director of the Institute for Shamanic Studies), and Myron Eshowsy (Shamanic counselor and author of, Peace with Cancer: Shamanism as a Spiritual Approach to Healing.)
