Hey all!
Well, it's about a week until the full moon - October 22nd - and I feel that that would be the perfect time to host Evolver Pittsburgh's first Spore.
I do apologize for the short notice - life has a been a bit crazy lately, and I could really use one or two more people to volunteer as Sporeganizers! - but the ball is rolling now, and let's roll with it! Admittedly, I know very little about Magic, so organizing an event around it by myself has been kind of confusing!
Luckily, synchronicity came into play, and local magician and friend, Simon Zealot, has offered to give a presentation on magic - it'll be pretty great! Check out his website: http://www.bottlesofdjinn.com/
Before I solidify this event, I'm asking for your input on:
1) whether you, or anyone that you know, would also like to speak about magic
2) if you have access to a venue - public coffee shop, restaurant/bar, open space, home - that you think would be good for this - otherwise we'll default on my house
3) as mentioned before, Sporeganizers - official Evolver Pittsburgh contact points for the Regional network, directly involved in making these things happen

I was only aware of this site after you had this event - so I simply want to say that we should certainly have another get together in the near future - either a meetup in the city, a walk through the woods, whatever, and discuss further. I know a few people that might be interested as well.

BTW - a good way to find me would be to come to the Harvest After Party at the Brillobox at Sunday, 7:00 - $10 - proceeds support local farms, urban agriculture and crazy permaculture peeps.
I'll be working the door and representing TransitionPGH there. Should be a good time.
