I'm interested in knowing who my neihbors are, I'm in SE on Hawthorne.
I think building community is a lot about what you can get to walking distance and who lives close......so anyone on the SE side? :)

You can be sure that there are many of us active SEsters out here. There is a lot going on here. although being active is not alway so easy. A few of my favorite active SE groups that I keep up with and try to be involved with are www.n2e.org and www.transitionpdx.org , and of course www.brightneighbor.com seems to be shaping up to be a useful neighborhood connection tool, although it has a way to go.

I am very curious about your dream meetings, and I live pretty close to Hawthorne too. However, I don't drink much coffee after 3pm...
Maybe we could still meet up? We should send an invite out to any/all interested in SE and get a group together. I don't know many people in Portland, and I'd like to change that.
