2012TimeforChange We are opening in Portland on July 2, and recruiting volunteers to hang posters and place postcards ahead of time, as well as to help out at the theater! All volunteers get a free ticket to the movie and a poster! Message us if you are interested. EVOLVE TO SOLVE!

Hanging posters:
Walk around busy commercial strips (streets) with large cloth grocery bag of posters. Bring roll of scotch tape and thumb tacks!

Community minded businesses are Really into accepting posters. You can see them in front windows. Sometimes they have spots near bathrooms to hang or they only accept postcards.

Go into some places you don't expect to accept posters, you may be surprised.

Search with yelp or google maps to find places away from strips that may accept posters. ie bookstores, yoga joints, health food stores.

Get in touch with different community groups that would be interested in the movie.

Divide up different areas of town amongst volunteers to increase efficiency.
Please keep a record of the places that accept posters.

When you walk in many will say yes before you can finish saying "I have a poster". Check out the movie website and notice the universal appeal of the movie and Highlight what would appeal to that business in your movie description to them.

I don't live in Portland so add and subtract from what I have wrote as you wish.

With your help more people will come to see the movie. In Seattle "Time for Change" has extended it's run twice for a week so far.

If we can keep this momentum going it will be picked up for a nation wide release.
