Day Of Action Aug 21 SLC, UT - SAVE THE DATE

The Day of Action for our Spore in Salt Lake City will take place on Saturday Aug 21st at Jordan Park on 1000 West and 900 South in Salt Lake City.

Please join in supporting the International Peace Festival at the International Peace Gardens (at Jordan Park). Starting at 11 am with the re-dedication of the Mermaid Statue.

Later in the afternoon, we'll move to the Urban Tree House, an outdoor classroom, where local leaders and peace activists will speak on issues impacting our communities.
Peter Hayes will speak regarding how we can become more aware of the ecology of our water ways, banks and shores and what actions we can take in the care, restoration, preservation and conservation of Utah's rivers.
Tessa Shields will present on the role of vibration as a creative force in our world with a singing bowl demonstration and meditation.
Chloe Shine Noble will speak regarding the struggles of homeless youth as they work to survive and make a place for themselves in this world.
There will be live music by Xentradi. The celebration closes around 6pm.
