Green Drinks is a social networking opportunity among environmentally-conscious professionals to interact and explore ways to make our community more sustainable AND it's fun!

These are grassroots gatherings that occur in more than 600 cities worldwide. Check out the Green Drinks home page to see what other cities are doing or visit their gatherings when you travel. Look through all the cities' logos to see if you can find the Santa Fe Green Drinks logo.

Flying Star Cafe
at the Railyard

One of our newest members of the Santa Fe Alliance, our Farm to Restaurant project and to this community, The Flying Star Cafe will host our September Green Drinks. They keep it "real and green" by using earth-friendly to-go containers, utensils, bags and even straws. Their delivery trucks run on biodiesel. Their meats are certified humane raised and handled. Their coffee is fair trade and they cook everything from scratch. And, did you know they also have a beer and wine license? You can find out more at Food for Thought.

We are honored to have the founders of Bioneers, Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons, speak at this Green Drinks. Bioneers is a term to describe an emerging culture of social and scientific innovators who focus on environmental solutions inspired by nature and human ingenuity.

We'll learn about Dreaming New Mexico, an innovative experiment that aspires to bring about positive ecological and social transformations at the local and regional level.
