My dearest Evolvers,
Sad news today...
I will be away for the foreseeable future, effectively putting my Evolver activity on hiatus. :(
It came as quite a surprise, but I got a call from a company that I was hoping to get a job with for a long time, now. I have to be in Florida by next Wednesday, with very little notice. Due to the circumstances in my life, I can't afford to say no to this gig.
How I wish I could just be care free and spend my time trying to solve problems in the world and helping to bring communities together. But, I have another calling for now, I guess.
I can easily say that leaving the Evolver group will be the hardest part of moving out of Toronto. The momentum we have going and the positive energy surrounding our group is really intense. So, please, don't let it go, gang. Keep the energy up and get some projects on the go! I know that everyone is busy in their personal lives, but this is a really worthy cause, right?
I will be living in the Bahamas for the rest of the year, working in the tourism industry, which is my background. I will be in Florida a lot, as well, and will try to link up with the Evolvers there.
So that's it. For now, I'm handing the torch over to Hitosan (Mark) who has been right there by my side, helping organize events and putting up all kinds of great info over the board and via email. You are all in capable hands. I plan on checking in from time to time and will keep my Evolver profile active. So by all means, get in touch if you have anything you'd like to share with me.
It has been a blast getting to know you all, gang and I wish you nothing but love and luck for the future with this movement and in your own personal lives. I can't tell you how much the Evolver Network has changed me and helped me grow, made me feel hope again.
I will be celebrating my departure tonight! Likely at a local bar or possibly even at my apartment in Rosedale... I would love to see any and/or all of you out for a last hug and some mutual well wishings.

Thank you Jay for all you have done for Evolver and also for me personally. It is difficult to see you and your awesome spirit leave.
However, as I suggested to you a few days ago, I don't think my momentum will stop. There's a lot I want to change about myself and a lot of my new self I want to give; I have your encouragement to thank. I too have seen a glimpse of hope in humanity and honestly, it's all I need as motivation right now.
Our paths couldn't have crossed at a better time. Years of trying my hardest in school has left me disconnected from reality, trapping myself in dark place I wasn't satisfied in. Once the smoke cleared I was ready for change / to give back and Evolver was there to take me in. It was exactly what I needed, new friends that had something new to share and a will to make it happen. Thank you Jay and everyone for being there.
Our family has just gotten started. I'd wish you good luck if I thought you needed it Jay but there's something about you where I feel you'd always be in safe hands. But in the sake of not to jinx, good luck my brother, you will not be forgotten, Jack

It was definitely sad to see you roll out, as you're simply a great ball of energy and your passion for the movement was fantastic! I'm happy that we got to connect and it was through this wonderful platform! Overall, you're not far away, so I hope to check you in the sunny south someday soon come! Enjoy life on the water.
