Hi there!
So many thoughts were generated in my head since the meeting and discussion on Shamanism. I'll start with gratitude to each person who contributed and attended. It was a very fine evening.
I am curious what others are thinking about and where/if there is interest in critque, feedback, discussion.
I'll give it more thought and come back when I have a bit more time.
For now, this is what I offer.
Looking forward to talking more with each of you eager souls.

Post-meta Reflections
Thanks Mimi for generating discussion on our recent event and for making it in for it.
For me the overall evening was a good exercise in focusing on a topic with evolutionary potential with familiar and newly met company. The technical side of screening video and having to borrow someones machine and video camera was both a blessing and challenging. It's wonderful to be able to see large images projected and nice sound quality but tiring to gather them all if you don't own or have easy access to them. Also using unfamiliar gear is dfficult and I had no time to set up early. Thankful that others were able to help out therefore. Still being grassroots though is a plus in other ways and having people suggest things to me while the event was underway showed me I can learn from others and to not stress too much over small details
. It was for the most part our first stand alone event.
For me it was also a chance to have some friends share their gifts with new audience that appeared receptive while allowing a discussion between peers. We used the Fisbowl Council for the discussion wherein our speaker guests sat in a small circle inside a bigger circle of observers
while keeping a space available for outer people to join the discussion. We ended with people writing a question on a post up note placed on the wall for people to have informal discussion after we closed and it seemed to help keep the energy alive a liitle longer while some cleaned up the space graciously provided by Jasmin Starrchild.
Would certainly welcome feedback and especially participation in the upcoming Spore events to come.
Thanks again to all who came out!
